These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of itinerary planning services by TrainTripsEurope to the customer.

 


 

1. Scope of Service

TrainTripsEurope provides customized itinerary planning and travel consultation for Interrail journeys across Europe. Our service includes the creation of a travel plan based on customer preferences. The execution of the trip, including booking accommodations, transport, and activities, remains entirely the responsibility of the customer.

 


 

2. Third-Party Services

We make every effort to provide accurate information regarding transportation, accommodations, and activities. However, availability, schedules, and prices are subject to change without notice. TrainTripsEurope is not responsible for:

  • Errors or omissions in third-party information;

  • The quality, safety, reliability, or performance of services provided by third parties such as rail carriers, hotels, or activity operators;

  • Changes, cancellations, or delays by third-party providers;

  • Disputes or complaints relating to third-party services, which must be resolved directly with the relevant provider.

 

 

3. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is solely responsible for:

  • Booking all transportation, accommodations, and activities;

  • Possessing valid travel documents, visas, Interrail passes, reservations, and travel insurance;

  • Meeting health and safety requirements, such as necessary vaccinations;

  • Ensuring their travel plans align with their personal preferences, physical ability, and travel style;

  • Covering any additional costs resulting from changes or deviations during the journey.

TrainTripsEurope is not liable for any inconvenience, loss, or issues resulting from personal choices or unfeasible travel expectations.

 


 

4. Availability and Accuracy

All recommendations are subject to availability. TrainTripsEurope does not guarantee that accommodations or activities suggested in the itinerary will be available at the time of customer booking.

We do not provide legal guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information offered. All travel decisions are made at the customer’s own discretion and risk.

 


 

5. Force Majeure

TrainTripsEurope shall not be held liable for delays, changes, or cancellations due to force majeure events, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Pandemics

  • Strikes

  • Political unrest

  • Technical failures or transport disruptions

 

 

6. Intellectual Property

All itineraries and travel plans are the intellectual property of TrainTripsEurope and are provided for personal use only. You may not copy, reproduce, share, resell, or distribute any part of the itinerary without our express written consent. Violation of this clause may result in legal action and claims for damages.

We reserve the right to use anonymized versions of custom itineraries in our standard itinerary shop.

 


 

7. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT and are valid at the time of quotation.

  • The fee covers only the planning and consulting service. All travel-related expenses (e.g., accommodations, transport, tickets, activities) are the customer’s responsibility and must be paid directly to third parties.

  • Full payment must be made prior to the delivery of the itinerary. The payment term is indicated on the invoice and starts upon receipt.

  • If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel service delivery.

  • All bank charges or transaction fees are the customer’s responsibility.

 

 

8. Changes and Adjustments

Customers are entitled to one free round of revisions within 5 business days of receiving the initial itinerary. Any additional revisions, or changes that deviate significantly from the original request, may incur an extra fee up to the full price of the original itinerary.

TrainTripsEurope reserves the right to reject unreasonable or excessive adjustment requests and will only process changes that fit within the original travel framework.

 


 

9. Refund Policy

  • No refunds are available once the customer accepts the quotation.

  • No refunds will be issued for completed travel plans or partial use of the service.

 

 

10. Limitation of Liability

TrainTripsEurope’s liability is strictly limited to the amount paid by the customer for the itinerary planning service. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Missed reservations

  • Delays in transport

  • Property damage

  • Personal injury or accidents

  • Mental or emotional distress

  • Financial losses or additional travel costs

 

 

11. Right to Refuse or Cancel Service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel services if we suspect:

  • Misuse of our travel plans;

  • Violation of our terms;

  • Insufficient lead time to deliver a high-quality itinerary;

  • Any other circumstance that would prevent us from delivering the service to our standards.

We are not obligated to accept requests made on very short notice and reserve the right to decline such requests.

 


 

12. Privacy Policy

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising in connection with our services shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
